Fr. Jonathan was born and raised in the city of Worcester. He applies his parent's lessons of generosity, openness, and hospitality that was instilled in him along with his three siblings within his pastoral approach. He grew up in St. John's Parish on Temple Street and was influenced greatly by the priests of that parish. Fr. Jonathan attended Worcester Public School graduating in 2002 from North High School. He received his bachelor's degree from Anna Maria College in 2006. Fr. Jonathan attended Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD receiving his Master's in 2012. On June 2, 2012 Fr. Jonathan was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Robert McManus.
Fr. Jonathan's previous assignments include serving as parochial vicar of St. John Paul II Parish in Southbridge from 2012-2014 and St. Joseph' Parish in Charlton from 2014-2016. Fr. Jonathan was named administrator of OLP in July of 2016 and was appointed pastor in July of 2017. Fr. Jonathan also assists in the Office of Vocations as Director of Recruitment. He also serves as the chaplain for the Auburn Police Department and the Worcester Police Department.
