As part of the ongoing parish renewal effort in Worcester North, each parish has appointed representatives to serve in this important process of prayer, dialogue, and planning. These parish representatives will not only meet regularly but will also travel together once a month to each of the participating parishes.

At each visit, the host parish will:

• Provide a guided tour of the entire parish facility (church, hall, offices, classrooms, and grounds), helping all representatives gain a clear sense of the strengths and needs of each community.
• Present a parish SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) to highlight where parish life is thriving, where there are challenges, and what opportunities exist for future growth.

This process allows every representative to see firsthand the unique character, gifts, and challenges of each parish. It will help us all to better understand how our communities can collaborate in ways that strengthen our mission and witness to the Gospel here in Worcester.

Como parte del esfuerzo de renovación parroquial en la zona norte de Worcester, cada parroquia ha designado representantes para participar en este importante proceso de oración, diálogo y planificación. Estos representantes parroquiales no solo se reunirán regularmente, sino que también viajarán juntos una vez al mes a cada una de las parroquias participantes

En cada visita, la parroquia anfitriona:

• Ofrecerá un recorrido guiado por todas las instalaciones parroquiales (iglesia, salón, oficinas, salones de clase y terrenos), para que todos los representantes tengan una visión clara de las fortalezas y necesidades de cada comunidad.
• Presentará un análisis FODA parroquial (Fortalezas, Oportunidades, Debilidades y Amenazas) para destacar en qué aspectos la vida parroquial está creciendo, dónde hay desafíos y qué oportunidades existen para el futuro.

Este proceso permitirá que cada representante vea de primera mano el carácter único, los dones y los desafíos de cada parroquia. Nos ayudará a comprender mejor cómo nuestras comunidades pueden colaborar de manera que fortalezcan nuestra misión y nuestro testimonio del Evangelio aquí en Worcester.

• Are there gaps in ministries, leadership, or resources?
• Are there patterns of burnout, lack of volunteers, or financial strain?

O – Opportunities
External possibilities that can help the parish grow

• What pastoral or community needs can we respond to?
• Are there evangelization or outreach opportunities?
• How can partnerships with schools, other parishes, or organizations help?
• What new demographics, technology, or cultural shifts might we embrace?

T – Threats
External challenges that may hinder parish life

• What cultural, social, or economic issues affect our parish?
• Are there changes in demographics, attendance, or giving trends?
• What external pressures (e.g., secularism, declining vocations, parish mergers) may impact us?
• Are there risks to financial stability or facilities?
