While sitting at a table one evening in La Scala restaurant on Shrewsbury St. Fr. Jonathan was lamenting to some friends about the headache of trying to find money for the boiler. With that, three of his wonderful friends (Darlene, Beth, and Erin) from the court house said “let’s do a meat raffle”. The Meat Raffle was a great success bringing many from the local community and beyond together for a great cause to assist in providing a safe space for the inner city youth. Many were involved in assisting and planning and we are happy to announce that our next Meat Raffle is March 28th, 2020to take place at the Compass Tavern on Harding St. in Worcester.
The proceeds go to benefit the inner city youth as we strive to give them a safe space to grow into the athletic, intellectual, spiritual, human beings they are called to be.
