Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Serving at Mass & Bringing Christ to the Homebound

Have you felt called to bring Christ’s presence to others in a deeper way?
 Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHCs) serve an important role in the life of our parish — both by assisting in the distribution of the Eucharist at Mass and by bringing the Body of Christ to those who cannot be with us in person.

Ministry Opportunities

• At Mass – Assisting the priest and deacon in distributing Holy Communion to the assembly.
• To the Homebound – Visiting parishioners who are sick, elderly, or homebound to share Christ’s presence through the Eucharist, prayer, and companionship.

• To help your parish family experience God’s love more fully.
• To carry Christ’s compassion to those who are most in need.

Requirements

• Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing.
• Must have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
• A spirit of reverence, humility, and love for the Eucharist.

Training Sessions

• English Training: Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. (Upper Church)
• Spanish Training: Sunday, September 28, 2025 at 12:15 p.m., following the 11:00 a.m. Spanish Mass (Upper Church)

Ministros Extraordinarios de la Sagrada Comunión

Sirviendo en la Misa y Llevando a Cristo a los Enfermos y Confinados en Casa

¿Sientes el llamado de llevar la presencia de Cristo a los demás de una manera más profunda?
 Los Ministros Extraordinarios de la Sagrada Comunión (MESC) tienen un papel muy importante en la vida de nuestra parroquia — ayudando en la distribución de la Eucaristía en la Misa y llevando el Cuerpo de Cristo a aquellos que no pueden estar presentes con nosotros.

Oportunidades de Ministerio

• En la Misa – Ayudar al sacerdote y al diácono a distribuir la Sagrada Comunión a la asamblea.
• A los enfermos y confinados en casa – Visitar a los feligreses que están enfermos, ancianos o en casa para compartir la presencia de Cristo a través de la Eucaristía, la oración y la compañía.

• Para acercarte más a Cristo en la Eucaristía.
• Para ayudar a tu familia parroquial a experimentar más plenamente el amor de Dios.
• Para llevar la compasión de Cristo a quienes más lo necesitan.

Requisitos

• Ser católico practicante en buena reputación.
• Haber recibido los Sacramentos del Bautismo, la Confirmación y la Eucaristía.
• Tener espíritu de reverencia, humildad y amor por la Eucaristía.

Sesiones de Capacitación

• En inglés: Martes, 23 de septiembre de 2025 a las 6:30 p.m. (Iglesia Superior)
• En español: Domingo, 28 de septiembre de 2025 a las 12:15 p.m., después de la Misa en español de las 11:00 a.m. (Iglesia Superior)
