At St. Bernard's Church we invite youth to participate as altar servers assisting at liturgical celebrations.  We have the altar servers trained so they might fulfill the role with dignity and respect helping to foster an atmosphere of prayerful reverence within the Church.  We have found that our serving program has become a catechetical tool of evangelization among the neighborhood youth bringing them into a deeper relationship with Christ.  It has become the stepping stone for several who have entered into the RCIA program as a result of being able to assist.  If your child is interested in serving please contact us.
