The Daily Choice AA meetings takes place every day of the week at 7:00am in the morning. The meeting is located in the Marie Anne Center located in the lower church with access through the parking lot. The parish continually holds all those who suffer from addiction within its prayers. Masses are said throughout the year for those who are in recovery. If you or someone you know might be burdened with substance abuse, Fr. Jonathan welcomes you to speak with him so he can assist you.
“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.”
"Oh Blessed Mother, heart of love and mercy, hear my prayer. I am comforted in knowing your heart is ever open to those who ask for your intercession. We trust those in recovery from alcohol who are sick, lonely or hurting to your gentle heart. Help us all, Holy Mother in the recovery from the burden of our sins until we may share eternal life with you in the kingdom of your son, who lives and reigns forever and ever. Amen"
“My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end. Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think that I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so. But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you. And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing. I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire. And I know that if I do this you will lead me by the right road, though I may know nothing about it. Therefore will I trust you always, though I may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death. I will not fear, for you are ever with me, and you will never leave me to face my perils alone.” - Thomas Merton
