Eucharistic adoration is an expression of our love of Jesus, who loves us and so stays with us day and night in the Blessed Sacrament. For he says, "Behold I am with you always!"
Eucharistic Adoration is simply our response to Jesus' love whereby each is willing to spend a quiet holy hour of prayer in His Eucharistic presence once a week on a regular basis so that Jesus is never left alone.
This time you spend with Jesus is spent any way you want to: reading the Holy Bible, praying the rosary with your favorite prayer book or speaking to Jesus Heart to Heart as one does a friend. Or, you may just want to sit, relax and enjoy the sweet peace that comes from simply being with Jesus, the One who loves you the Most.
“Moreover, I want to encourage everyone to visit – if possible, every day – especially amid life’s difficulties, the Blessed Sacrament of the infinite love of Christ and His mercy, preserved in our churches, and often abandoned, to speak filially with Him, to listen to Him in silence, and to peacefully entrust yourself to Him.”- Pope Francis
